The staXscale support fast-track guide

A professional operator focused on a laptop, representing the efficient staXscale technical support process

What to include in your ticket to speedrun the process

1. The specific asset

Ambiguity is the biggest delay in support. Please identify exactly where the issue is occurring:

  • Target URL: The specific link where the error occurs.

  • Environment: Is this Production, Staging, or a Dev environment?

2. Expected vs. actual behavior

Clearly define the gap so we know exactly what “fixed” looks like:

  • Expected: What did you want to happen?

  • Actual: What actually happened? (Please include specific error messages or codes like “500 Internal Server Error”).

3. Steps to reproduce

If we can’t see the error, we can’t fix it. A numbered list is the fastest way to get us on the same page:

  1. I logged into [Dashboard/URL].

  2. I clicked on [Specific Button/Tab].

  3. I entered [Specific Data] and hit Save.

  4. Result: [The error appeared].

4. Your technical environment

Sometimes the issue is local. Please include:

  • Browser & Version: (e.g., Chrome v146).

  • OS & Device: (e.g., macOS on MacBook Pro).

  • Connection: Are you on a VPN or corporate firewall?

5. Visual evidence

A screenshot or a log snippet is worth a thousand words.

  • Screenshots: Full-window captures showing the URL bar are best.

Why we work this way

By providing this data up front, we can bypass the initial “triage” phase. Your ticket glides directly to the technical resolution stage.

Two examples using this formula:

Example 1 – Critical error at check out

  • Asset: checkout-stage.staxscale.com (Staging Environment)

  • Expected Behavior: Users should be redirected to the Stripe success page after clicking “Complete Purchase.”

  • Actual Behavior: The page hangs for 10 seconds and returns a “500 Internal Server Error” message.

  • Steps to Reproduce:
         1.  Navigate to the staging site.
         2.  Add “Product A” to the cart.
         3.  Enter test card details and click “Complete Purchase.”
         4.  Error occurs immediately after the click.
  • Environment: Chrome v146.045 on macOS Sonoma.

  • Screenshots: Attached screenshot from site.

Example 2 – SSL  certificate error

  • Asset: https://yourwebsite.com (production environment)

  • Expected Behavior:  The site should load securely with a “Locked” icon in the browser bar.

  • Actual Behavior: Browser displays a “Your connection is not private” warning (NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID).

  • Steps to Reproduce
         1.  Open any browser.
         2.  Type in https://yourwebsite.com.
         3. The privacy warning appears immediately before the site loads.

  • Environment: Attempted on Chrome (Desktop) and Safari (Mobile).

  • Visual Evidence: Loom link, showing the reproduced browser error code.
