Most common questions we help with
You’re not the only one – these are the most common challenges we see.
They’re all fixable (usually pretty quickly), and if one looks familiar, we’ve got a step-by-step fix ready for it.

Something looks broken - is it me or the site?
9/10 times, it’s just your browser holding onto an old, cached version of the page. Open your website in an Incognito or Private Browsing window. If it looks totally fine there, the site is healthy, you just need to clear your browser cache (hit Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + Shift + R).
If it still looks broken in Incognito, it’s the site. Check any recent plugin updates first, then if you’d like, open a ticket so we can help.
PS: When the problem isn’t hosting, here are tons of resources to unstick your site.
Why is something different after updating plugins?
Whether it’s a feral WordPress plugin or a messy code deployment, site updates often break things. If you’re on WordPress, you can often roll back a bad plugin directly in your dashboard.
If you’re totally locked out, or if you’re running a non-WordPress site, you can always access the staXscale dashboard. We provide backups as a convenience, but you should always maintain your own backups. We recommend tools like CodeGuard or BlogVault for added protection.

Why isn't my SSL showing yet?
My site feels slow - is that normal?
Absolutely not. Your site lives on premium infrastructure – it should be flying.
If your site is suddenly dragging, it almost always points to an application-level issue – a caching plugin that got turned off, a massive uncompressed image on the homepage, or a heavy plugin eating up PHP resources.
What to check before opening a ticket
Save yourself some time and try the holy trinity of troubleshooting first:
The Incognito Test: Does the issue still happen in a private browsing window? (If no, clear your browser cache).
The Plugin Check: Did you recently update or install a new plugin? Try temporarily disabling it to see if the issue vanishes.
The DNS/Billing Check: Log into your dashboard to ensure your domain hasn’t expired and your billing is up to date.

Scaling up is completely seamless. Because we’re built on enterprise-grade infrastructure, you never have to deal with migrating your site to a new server just to get more power. Simply log into your staXscale “Client Area,” click on your active hosting service (click your URL), and look for the ‘Upgrade/Downgrade’ button on the left menu. The system will automatically allocate more resources to your account with zero downtime.
